Did I mention that Josh bought a new camera last week, 3 days after my destruction of the old one via water bath? Crazy. I guess that's why I was a bit over-excited to take pictures of traffic.

What'd ya get??? DId you end up choosing the Rebel? Canon just came out with that lovely new version... Do share details! Happy for you! (And it's true, even traffic is beautiful through the viewfinder of a new camera)
Not an SLR, no. After about 15 minutes of careful consideration, we decided that portability was a priority for the moment. It's the Canon SD700, a very tiny point and shoot camera. The SLR will have to wait.
