A last minute change of plans took us to the Bar Harbor/Acacia National Park area this weekend. We'd planned carefully for a whitewater rafting trip in upstate NY, which would have been cold, rainy and (we realized at the last minute) a 3-hr drive from the campsite we'd booked - oops! Northern Maine seemed to be the only dry spot within 6 hours of Boston for the long weekend, so that's where we headed.
This first fine "vista" is looking north over Jordan Pond at the "Bubbles." Personally, I think they need a bra. Josh obliged for this silly photo:

Rachel is very generously saying "we" when really it was me who accidentally booked a campsite 3 hours from our whitewater rafting location. Idiot!
